GSU Legend and Hall of Famer Retires from NFL
Grambling State University's own pro-football Hall of Famer, Charlie Joiner, Jr. retired after 44 years as a player and coach in the NFL. Mr. Joiner played for the San Diego Chargers from 1976 - 1986, and was their wide receivers coach until his retirement. He also played for the Houston Oilers and the Cincinnati Bengals. Now he will have more time to come and visit the Museum.
