One of the lobbies of the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium will be named after our own Coach Eddie G. Robinson, winningest coach with 408 wins. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Dallas,Texas stadium on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM. The GSU Tigers will play Prairie View A & M at 4:30 PM in the Southwest Airlines State Fair Classic. The City of Dallas, Parks and Recreation honors great collegiate coaches who have played in the Cotton Bowl Stadium. Three murals of coaches have been installed, including Barry Switzer, Darrell Royal, and Eddie G. Robinson. Coach Rob's image will be displayed on the main concourse level elevator lobby. The project was designed by HEERY DESIGN of Atlanta, Georgia - an architectural, engineering, and interior design firm. HEERY installed all three coach's exhibits. The EGRM was happy to be of assistance by providing the graphic image for the giant photo that was used in the Coach Robinson project.
