EDDIE ROBINSON, JR DIES AT 70
Eddie Robinson, Jr., son of one of the greatest football coaches of all time, passed away last night due to complications resulting from heart transplant surgery. The younger Robinson shared his father's life-long love for football and the student athletes who played the game. It was perhaps his passion for sports and the youth that define him best. He was referred to as "Coach Junior". Each year he hosted summer football camps, in honor of his father, where he enlisted colleagues and friends to impart fundamentals of the sport and life lessons on camp participants. He was a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and husband to his late wife Gloria. We will miss him.
