Grambling Legend in 2013 Hall of Fame Inductee Class
Ralph "Road Runner" Garr, former Grambling State and Major League Baseball great will be inducted into the 2013 Baseball Hall of Fame. As a senior, Garr's .582 batting average led the nation and he was named an NAIA first team All-American. His 408 batted in number is very special to us. (Coach Rob's 408 wins makes him the winningest coach in D-1 history). Mr. Garr's major league career included the Atlanta Braves, the Chicago White Sox, and the California Angels. He was the National League Batting Champion in 1974 and a N.L. All-Star in 1974. You will find Ralph Garr's Legends plaque on the Legends wall in the museum. Congratulations Ralph Garr!
