Doug Williams to Receive O'Brien Award
The Davey O'Brien Foundation announced that Grambling State University Hall of Famer, Doug Williams will receive the 2013 Davey O'Brien Legends Award presented by Low T Center at a Feb.17th awards dinner in Ft. Worth, Texas. This award is given for outstanding contributions to the game of football, both on and off the field, to a college or professional quarterback. Some of the past recipients include Jim Kelly, Bob Griese, Dan Fouts, Joe Theismann,Ardhie Manning,Terry Bradshaw, and Roger Staubach.
